Time Management

Hi all my followers and newbies,
Wow, time sure does fly. In this post I am going to touch on Time Management, what it is and how it can help you. I sure need this in my daily routine.
As you can see from the dates on my blog I have not posted anything since June 2009, wow that it not good enough from a bloggers point of view! I know there has been a lot happening in my life, over the last 12months, one should still fit in a post on one's blog at least every week or 2 weeks.
Time Management :
What is it? Having to prioritize your activities, " from urgent to not so important". Using Time Management in your routine, will benefit not only you , also those around you. Now working out what is important and what what can be done later, is going to help you achieve a lot more in less time!! Finding out how to maximum your worth on a daily basis, will make way for more play.
There are numerous books, articles, sites etc on the web, that will help guide you to working out your own plan.
How Time Management Will Help :
Starting with a diary, putting down your daily tasks, prioritize them in order of urgency!
As you finish a task, put a line through it or just put an asterisk beside it. Then move onto the next task. If you do not get to any or complete a task, just write it on the next day, that way you will eventually get that task down.
These tasks can be related to your daily chores as well, such as cooking, gardening, hobbies ( scrapbooking), family!!!!! Time Management can help in so many ways.

I hope this was some help to some!!!!
Well people I will leave off here and get back to my important tasks at hand.
Until another day!
Cheers
Sandra

Scrapbook Having Fun

Now in this post Nannyone will be explaining that having fun, is a great part of Scrapbook enjoyment. In any hobby liking what you do, makes all the difference, that is ; being creative, sharing topics with friends and others.
To get the best results from anything you do, depends on how much effort you put into in the first place. With this I mean, sharing your stories with others on the Web in blogs, in social media sites, going to workshops, finding websites that have information about your particular hobby.
There are also Scrapbook Getaways- where you all go away for a weekend together and scrap. The ones I have been to are awesome. You can even scrap in your PJ's if you want. There are games you play, prizes to win, all in all just having fun.
So Scrappers get to work, pasting, painting, stamping, Journaling, etc. At the same time make it a fun project and get together with others swapping ideas and having a party.
I just wanted to leave you with a little something to remember Scrapbooking is all about making memories with your photo's and Having Fun.

Nannyone signing off until we meet in next post.

Page Content

Hi Everyone, NannyOne says it is time to start working the pages. With this I mean adding content to each page, of your scrapbook. You should already have your photo's on the page, and now wondering what else you need to smarten the page up.

Remembering that your photo should still be the main focus on the page. Having to think of other items to add to your page, well I have a few ideas that may help you, and these consists of

Embellishments-- brads, flowers, clips, pins, beads
Ribbon, stickers, chipboard, letters, paint,
You can even use stamping on your page, have a tear paper effect using a contrast colour from the background. You can use foam dots to lift your photo off the page, or use he foam dots to raise other items off the page. All this is page content, just adding special effects to your photo.
Further more NannyOne has been busy with her blogs, establishing an area for people just like me, to find a site that helps them to scrapbook their photo's, and follow simple instructions along the way. This can be from simple beginnings to digital scrapbook. As I progress with the blog, I will touch on the area of digital scrapbook.
Well I think that I will pop a little item that I have made for you to browse.
